◦ English has different pronunciation of the language, some words with
pronunciation are really similar, some even have the same writing but the
pronunciation is different.
◦ there are four important aspects that must be studied, namely ?
◦ 1. Word Stress ( tekanan suara pada kata)
◦ 2. Sentence Stress (Tekanan suara pada kalimat)
◦ 3. Linking (Penyambungan pada kata)
◦ 4. Intonation (naik turunnya nada suara saat berbicara)
3. TYPE TONIC STRESS
◦ this is the syllable that a word has and gets the most word emphasis and intonation,example:
◦ She’s Waiting
◦ She;s Waiting/For her friends
4. PRONUNCIATION Blending with does
Notice the blending of does with other words.
A : My brother is married
B : Does he have any childrend ?
A : Yes, He does.

A : He’s a painter
