Students will be given an empty egg to care for in order to demonstrate responsibility before being allowed to take their school-issued tablet home. They must keep the egg safe in a provided case, store it securely during breaks and PE, and have parents sign off each night that it was undamaged. If a student's egg remains uncracked after the trial period, they will be able to take their tablet home; but any damage to the egg requires filling out paperwork, and the cracked egg must still be carried around to recognize the importance of responsibility even after mistakes.

3. Details
• Case for your egg – You have been
provided with a case. You can add to it,
but you must be able to open it for a
teacher.
• Decide where you will keep it when going
to break, lunch and PE. (Lockers are safe)
• Have teachers in sign the eggs if you
want.
• Take the egg home with parent note and
have parents sign the note each night.
4. Success – Tablet goes home
• Bring egg and all damage reports to tech
class.
• No damage to egg – cracks, breaks, ect.
• If damaged – have the necessary paper
work the egg will go home.
5. Damage to egg
• Any damage, crack or breakage
• Go to Tech Office to fill in form
• Have tech staff sign form
• Bring to class
• Still carry egg to classes even if it is
broken
– It is important to recognize that a broken egg still
needs to be taken care of.
