35. 전능하사 천지를 만드신 하나님 아버지를 내가 믿사오며,
그 외아들 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 믿사오니,
이는 성령으로 잉태하사 동정녀 마리아에게 나시고,
본디오 빌라도에게 고난을 받으사,
십자가에 못 박혀 죽으시고,
장사한지 사흘 만에 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아나시며,
하늘에 오르사,
전능하신 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시다가,
저리로서 산자와 죽은자를 심판하러 오시리라
48. > 11:1 이스라엘이 어렸을 때에 내가 사랑하여 내 아들을 애굽에서 불
러냈거늘
> 1 "When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I
called my son.
49. > 2 선지자들이 그들을 부를수록 그들은 점점 멀리하고 바알들에게 제
사하며 아로새긴 우상 앞에서 분향하였느니라
> 2 But the more I called Israel, the further they went from
me. They sacrificed to the Baals and they burned incense to
images.
50. > 3 그러나 내가 에브라임에게 걸음을 가르치고 내 팔로 안았음에도 내
가 그들을 고치는 줄을 그들은 알지 못하였도다
> 3 It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the
arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them.
51. > 4 내가 사람의 줄 곧 사랑의 줄로 그들을 이끌었고 그들에게 대하여
그 목에서 멍에를 벗기는 자 같이 되었으며 그들 앞에 먹을 것을 두었
노라
> 4 I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of
love; I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down to
feed them.
52. > 5 그들은 애굽 땅으로 되돌아 가지 못하겠거늘 내게 돌아 오기를 싫
어하니 앗수르 사람이 그 임금이 될 것이라
> 5 "Will they not return to Egypt and will not Assyria rule
over them because they refuse to repent?
53. > 6 칼이 그들의 성읍들을 치며 빗장을 깨뜨려 없이하리니 이는 그들의
계책으로 말미암음이니라
> 6 Swords will flash in their cities, will destroy the bars of
their gates and put an end to their plans.
54. > 7 내 백성이 끝끝내 내게서 물러가나니 비록 그들을 불러 위에 계신
이에게로 돌아오라 할지라도 일어나는 자가 하나도 없도다
> 7 My people are determined to turn from me. Even if they
call to the Most High, he will by no means exalt them.
55. > 8 에브라임이여 내가 어찌 너를 놓겠느냐 이스라엘이여 내가 어찌 너
를 버리겠느냐 내가 어찌 너를 아드마 같이 놓겠느냐 어찌 너를 스보임
같이 두겠느냐 내 마음이 내 속에서 돌이키어 나의 긍휼이 온전히 불붙
듯 하도다
> 8 "How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you
over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make
you like Zeboiim? My heart is changed within me; all my
compassion is aroused.
56. > 9 내가 나의 맹렬한 진노를 나타내지 아니하며 내가 다시는 에브라임
을 멸하지 아니하리니 이는 내가 하나님이요 사람이 아님이라 네 가운
데 있는 거룩한 이니 진노함으로 네게 임하지 아니하리라
> 9 I will not carry out my fierce anger, nor will I turn and
devastate Ephraim. For I am God, and not man-- the Holy
One among you. I will not come in wrath.
57. > 10 그들은 사자처럼 소리를 내시는 여호와를 따를 것이라 여호와께
서 소리를 내시면 자손들이 서쪽에서부터 떨며 오되
> 10 They will follow the LORD; he will roar like a lion.
When he roars, his children will come trembling from the
west.
58. > 11 그들은 애굽에서부터 새 같이, 앗수르에서부터 비둘기 같이 떨며
오리니 내가 그들을 그들의 집에 머물게 하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
> 11 They will come trembling like birds from Egypt, like
doves from Assyria. I will settle them in their homes,"
declares the LORD.
59. > 12 에브라임은 거짓으로, 이스라엘 족속은 속임수로 나를 에워쌌고
유다는 하나님 곧 신실하시고 거룩하신 자에게 대하여 정함이 없도다
> 12 Ephraim has surrounded me with lies, the house of
Israel with deceit. And Judah is unruly against God, even
against the faithful Holy One.
60. > 12:1 에브라임은 바람을 먹으며 동풍을 따라가서 종일토록 거짓과
포학을 더하여 앗수르와 계약을 맺고 기름을 애굽에 보내도다
> 1 Ephraim feeds on the wind; he pursues the east wind all
day and multiplies lies and violence. He makes a treaty with
Assyria and sends olive oil to Egypt.
61. > 2 여호와께서 유다와 논쟁하시고 야곱을 그 행실대로 벌하시며 그의
행위대로 그에게 보응하시리라
> 2 The LORD has a charge to bring against Judah; he will
punish Jacob according to his ways and repay him according
to his deeds.
62. > 3 야곱은 모태에서 그의 형의 발뒤꿈치를 잡았고 또 힘으로는 하나님
과 겨루되
> 3 In the womb he grasped his brother's heel; as a man he
struggled with God.
63. > 4 천사와 겨루어 이기고 울며 그에게 간구하였으며 하나님은 벧엘에
서 그를 만나셨고 거기에서 우리에게 말씀하셨나니
> 4 He struggled with the angel and overcame him; he wept
and begged for his favor. He found him at Bethel and talked
with him there-
64. > 5 여호와는 만군의 하나님이시라 여호와는 그를 기억하게 하는 이름
이니라
> 5 the LORD God Almighty, the LORD is his name of renown!
65. > 6 그런즉 너의 하나님께로 돌아와서 인애와 정의를 지키며 항상 너의
하나님을 바랄지니라
> 6 But you must return to your God; maintain love and
justice, and wait for your God always.
66. > 7 그는 상인이라 손에 거짓 저울을 가지고 속이기를 좋아하는도다
> 7 The merchant uses dishonest scales; he loves to defraud.
67. > 8 에브라임이 말하기를 나는 실로 부자라 내가 재물을 얻었는데 내가
수고한 모든 것 중에서 죄라 할 만한 불의를 내게서 찾아 낼 자 없으리
라 하거니와
> 8 Ephraim boasts, "I am very rich; I have become wealthy.
With all my wealth they will not find in me any iniquity or
sin."
68. > 9 네가 애굽 땅에 있을 때부터 나는 네 하나님 여호와니라 내가 너로
다시 장막에 거주하게 하기를 명절날에 하던 것 같게 하리라
> 9 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt;
I will make you live in tents again, as in the days of your
appointed feasts.
69. > 10 내가 여러 선지자에게 말하였고 이상을 많이 보였으며 선지자들
을 통하여 비유를 베풀었노라
> 10 I spoke to the prophets, gave them many visions and
told parables through them."
70. > 11 길르앗은 불의한 것이냐 과연 그러하다 그들은 거짓되도다 길갈
에서는 무리가 수송아지로 제사를 드리며 그 제단은 밭이랑에 쌓인 돌
무더기 같도다
> 11 Is Gilead wicked? Its people are worthless! Do they
sacrifice bulls in Gilgal? Their altars will be like piles of
stones on a plowed field.
71. > 12 야곱이 아람의 들로 도망하였으며 이스라엘이 아내를 얻기 위하
여 사람을 섬기며 아내를 얻기 위하여 양을 쳤고
> 12 Jacob fled to the country of Aram ; Israel served to get
a wife, and to pay for her he tended sheep.
72. > 13 여호와께서는 한 선지자로 이스라엘을 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨고
이스라엘이 한 선지자로 보호 받았거늘
> 13 The LORD used a prophet to bring Israel up from Egypt,
by a prophet he cared for him.
73. > 14 에브라임이 격노하게 함이 극심하였으니 그의 주께서 그의 피로
그의 위에 머물러 있게 하시며 그의 수치를 그에게 돌리시리라
> 14 But Ephraim has bitterly provoked him to anger; his
Lord will leave upon him the guilt of his bloodshed and will
repay him for his contempt.
