Higher project
EXPLORING YOUR IDEAS
Name: Moushomi Hanif
Title of ProjectDiversity fashion in LondonWhat is its format?PhotographyWhat is its Purpose?Make the audience aware of the different fashion found by the different cultured people from around the world in London. Who is the target audience? Build a profile. Audience demographics.Age: mainly teenagers and adults and older people.Gender: WomenInterests: fashion in London and like looking around in exhibitions. How will it be produced?Take photographs of girls in Central London because the sites there, for example the Big Ben, represent London. We will organise an exhibition that will have the photographs with some text about the history. What resources are needed?Photograph camera, costumes, make up.What risks are involved? How will I overcome these risks?- In the audition there might be props and costumes scattered which might cause someone to trip and injure them selves, which might affect our project – To prevent this we should have the audition place organised or have someone in charge of cleaning up- Taking photographs out in the streets of Central London, might be a risk of getting hit by the cars – To overcome this risk we could make sure that someone is managing the road for example a lollipop lady, or we could have someone standing beside the person taking the photograph and their job would be to monitor the movement of traffic.- During our exhibition, visitors might touch the artefacts and ruin it or the photograph might come off from the wall by accident because of that – To prevent this we should make sure that all artefacts are to be cordoned off for protection. What other issues do I need to think about? E.g. budget, time, talent etc.Budget – Each student has a £30 budget from the school. With that amount of money we will order some of the costumes. We will need money fro travelling to our location and this money will come from our own pockets. Time – Set a deadline. Find an appropriate time that will be suitable for both the models and ourselves.Talent – Photography skills. We will attend a photography session so we can train and practice how to use the cam era and different photography techniques. We need to know about the fashion and how to dress people.
