technology- short clips, editing tools, research.
3. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the
causes, key events and outcomes of World War One by
doing cooperative learning activities, making posters,
analyzing primary sources, and watching short video
clips with 80% accuracy after almost three weeks of
instruction 45 mins a day.
4. Day 1: The basics- explaining vocabulary (nationalism,
imperialism, and militarism)
Day 2: Causes of WW1
Day 3: Analyzing the role of propaganda in
influencing the U.S to enter WW1
Day4: Sequence of Events ( timeline) How other
countries felt (perspective)
Day 5: After math of WW1, outcomes ( Treaty of
Versailles- failure of League of Nations)

analyze propaganda, and to conduct formative
