Students will create their own Inuksuk sculptures, which are figures constructed of stones by the Inuit people to serve as sign posts on the barren tundra, pointing to locations of importance like hunting, fishing, or sacred spots. Students are instructed to sketch out their own Inuksuk design, specifying where they would place it and what location or purpose it would reference.
