12. Colour scheme
• Originally was black and white to connote a sense of minimalism as song is very lighthearted and has a soft
melody
• Black and white was also best suited to the aesthetic of photos I used as examples
• However, I decided to experiment with some more light tones, like the beige and green that you can see, to
create a sense of the forest/folklore vibe that Taylor's own album encompasses. I decided to use these tones
to create a background which was block colour rather than image to further connote a less overwhelming
feel, but also a feeling of maturity to appeal to target audience
• The same colours are used throughout to reflect consistency of the style of music we might expect to hear on
the album that is being promoted
