This document provides an agenda and instructions for an academic honesty session that discusses citing web publications and images as well as research. Students are asked to create blog posts on citing web publications and the history of computers through research. They must cite sources correctly in their posts and explain why each source was chosen. Their grade will depend on accurate citation and source justification.

 Compare your handout with citing a book. What is different?
 Write it on your post

5. CITING AN IMAGE
 Check the handout section on citing an image.
 Discuss with your partner what is the problem with using images
directly from google images.
 Add your ideas to your post

6. RESEARCH
 Create a second post called “the history of computers -
research”
 Research at least 3 different sources you can use for your post,
and one image to illustrate it.
 Cite each source on your post, and explain why you chose that
source.
 Your grade will be based on correct citation and the explanation
on why you chose that source.
 Email me a copy of your post until the end of the class.
