style’ at the moment, and lots of type

10. Start by researching some
‘typefaces’ or fonts that you like.
There are lots of great examples on
the Internet, or Pinterest to inspire
you.
You can either design your own, or
trace an existing typeface and adapt
it.
Draw out your letters onto sheets of paper, and we will
mount your work onto black boards in lessons, when we
return to school.
11. As a rough guide, make your letters
approximately 6cm by 6cm.
Remember, you are doing the WHOLE
alphabet.
Make sure that your letters are highly
refined, and they can be in black/white, or
colour.
Because this is a coursework task, and will form part of your
GCSE Graphics portfolio, I am giving you 3 weeks to
complete your alphabet - that’s 8 letters to do per week!
Please upload a ‘sample’ of your letters on
TUESDAY 14 July
You will need to bring them all into school into September, so
that we can mount them onto special card.
