Group 34: The Age Of Newton History, Science and Literature
Format Different countries take the responsibility of different aspects of the project, e.g. One to look at the historical timeline, one to look at the scientific framework and one to look at the literature. Students will then consolidate their information to share with the other students across Europe
Outcomes To learn more about the Age of Newton Learning how to use some ICT tools Communicating with other students using English Developing teamwork skills both within their own groups and across cultures Creating multimedia presentations Make students aware that Maths is made not only of numbers and formulae, but is shaped by history, it is the result of the hard work of people whom in their work faced both failures and successes. Encourage teachers to confront and share different teaching methods.
Tools - Internet for research and webquests - Blog for sharing the results - TwinSpace  ( E-Mail, Chat) -  Digital cameras (Videos) -  Power Point -  Movie Maker - Possible video conferences

  • 1. Group 34: The Age Of Newton History, Science and Literature

Format Different countries take the responsibility of different aspects of the project, e.g. One to look at the historical timeline, one to look at the scientific framework and one to look at the literature. Students will then consolidate their information to share with the other students across Europe
  • 3. Outcomes To learn more about the Age of Newton Learning how to use some ICT tools Communicating with other students using English Developing teamwork skills both within their own groups and across cultures Creating multimedia presentations Make students aware that Maths is made not only of numbers and formulae, but is shaped by history, it is the result of the hard work of people whom in their work faced both failures and successes. Encourage teachers to confront and share different teaching methods.
