2. SCRIPT & ACTORS -
I personally don’t think a script would be ideal, this would
be due to the fact that I don’t think words in a thriller
trailer would make a good impact on the trailer. As we
need to leave suspense and have it fast pace I think it
would work better without having people talking to each
other so people are left questioning themselves, on what
to expect and leave them unquestioned until it came out.
For actors we have thought about family relations within
the group, students in school or friends that could help
take part. To make if look effective I think it would be best
with very minimum characters in it as we want to have
that thriller feel.
3. FILMING AND EDIT-
We have a variety of locations which will be followed up
in the next prezi, for the filming we want it to look as
effective as we can so we have decided not to use the
school location as it would be to simple. We have a
variety of locations and settings which are in the following
prezi as I've already stated, I think as it’s a thriller it would
look better in black and white with a different range of
locations, as if it was just set in one filed it would all be the
same and nothing new or exciting. To make an impact on
the filming using both steady and handheld so it would
look effective. Changing the colour contrast would be
ideal so then it would have an effect for the trailer and the
audience as well.
4. MISE-EN-SCENE &
LOCATION-
As it’s a thriller I think we need to use a very dark
location this could be anything such as forest or just
a night time setting. Prisons are also good as they
are dark dull colours but if our trailer isn't going to
be related to a prison it wouldn’t work within the
trailer. The lighting needs to be dark and dull to give
it the scare effect of a thriller but we need to make
sure it doesn’t turn into a horror with the darkness
and suspense. Costume could be easily very simple
but maybe one prop to stand out which will help
you remember the character and look out for in
every scene.
