1. FINANCIAL SERVICES FACILITATOR
Pay Rate: $34,862 Annually with Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Related Degree: $42,121 Annually.
Job Description /Minimum Qualifications:
General Statement of Responsibilities: To perform functions involved in the coordination of the accounts payable
processing, general fixed assets control, payroll processing, and data processing functions. Additional tasks involve
verification and coordination of receipt of all funds and proper disposition thereof, as well as General Ledger
Reconciliation.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalency. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2. Any Combination of the following qualifications may be accepted:
A. Formal training and experience in the area.
B. Direct work experience within the school district.
C. Two- or Four-year degree in the areas listed.
3. At least three years of financial record keeping experience. This experience should include double entry bookkeeping.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of the basic principles, procedures and practices of financial record keeping including office
operations, equipment, and accounting.
5. Specialized training and experience working with electronic data processing equipment and programming.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates tasks of account clerks engaged in the posting, checking, assembling, tabulating, verifying, balancing and
comparing of various funds.
2. Prepares monthly statements of income, encumbrances, expenditures, and balances available in District funds through
use of electronic data processing equipment. Prepares additional reports as requested.
3. Coordinates payroll authorization documents and all related files.
4. Coordinates the record keeping of the District’s General Fixed Assets Inventory.
5. Assists in compliance of all funds; State, Federal, local and private projects approved by the Board.
6. Maintains a complete and systematic set of records of all financial transactions as prescribed by the Uniform System of
Financial Records.
7. Assists in establishing proper methods as prescribed by USFR to insure the proper receipting and disposition of student
activity funds.
8. Assists in the completion and submission of all required Federal, State, County reports, i.e. Budget, AFR, Revenue
Budget, Attendance reports, etc.
9. Serves as liaison to State, County, school district staff regarding all financial aspects of the district.
10. Performs other duties as directed by the Director of Financial Services or Superintendent.
