Global warming is a major problem caused by overuse of vehicles, leading to abnormal climate changes, rising sea levels, floods, loss of biodiversity and reduced snow and ice. Soil contamination occurs due to industrial activities, agriculture, waste disposal and acid rain, harming human and plant health as well as decreasing soil fertility. Mangroves stabilize shorelines, recharge groundwater, control floods and depletion of mangroves reduces biodiversity and sediment/nutrient retention.
