2. Storyline

It starts with a girl waking up from an alarm on her phone. She then receives a good morning message from her
boyfriend and tries to send him back a picture but takes multiple before deciding on which one to send, in the end she
just sends a text back. She then gets another alarm that says “homework”. She then sits down at a table and pulls out a
laptop. She opens up her email and receives an email from an unknown person. After opening it her laptop immediately
goes black and she can’t turn it back on. It then cuts from her to someone wearing a hoodie with their face covered
looking at a computer screen in a dark room. On the screen it shows the girls account on Instagram and then sends her
an email with an attachment called “Viral” and then it cuts to the title of the film VIRAL.

6. I could start my film opening with something similar to this
scene from the movie ‘Unfriended Dark Web’ as it’s also to do
with stalking and is in the thriller/horror genre.
8. film opening for ‘NERVE’ has given me some inspiration/ideas for my own opening
because it starts with a girl on her laptop inner room checking her emails.
9. The Protagonist
Our protagonist is a 17 year old girl who is dressed in modern clothes and is pretty but
very naive and vulnerable. Her parents are away for the weekend when the drama
happens and her life goes from normal and boring to tense and threatened.
