Minor raw materials:
They also need some raw materials like
• Ribbon,
•Printing and
•level to complete a product as finishing product.
18. Sourcing decision
Frank group always concern about their
customers. And they always give
priorities their buyers choices and tastes.
They provide product to their customers
as they wanted to be. For that reasons
they sometimes make own raw materials
for finish products on sometimes they
buy. What are reasons behind sourcing
decisions of raw materials lets take a
look:
19. Sourcing decision
Make Decision
Frank group sometime make raw materials
when specified that they want a specific type
of product or a sample is given by buyers to
them. They also want to maintain a quality
standard and try to save their cost so that
they can satisfy customers and try to keep the
full profits.
25. • Every company want to maintain a
relationship with suppliers or they want to
build up a network of suppliers because of
convenience of raw materials for their
products. Frank group is also not
exceptional. They also seek to build a
network with suppliers but its truth that
they are yet to build any supplier
relationship.
Supplier alliances
26. Every company try to stimulate their
suppliers by giving reward as recognition
to improve their raw materials quality on
time. But Frank group has no supplier
alliances. And they do not need to give
any reward to their suppliers.
Rewarding System of Supplier Performance
31. They seek to maintain an inventory system in which raw
materials are stored only for 72 hours before production.
They are very keen to implement JIT process but due to
technical fault, commucation gap and inconvenience or
unavailability of raw materials doesn't make their happen
They have an unique inventory system by which their cost
minimized a great extent
Inventory Management
32. Cost related to Inventory
Ordering costs
Carrying costs
Shortage costs
Ware housing costs
Damage and obsolescence cost
Inventory Management
33. • Greening of supply chain?
• Nowadays environment has been polluted due to
industrial wastage.Industrial waste is the wastage
produced by industrial activity includes any material that
is used in a manufacturing process such as that of
factories,industries,mills and mining operations.Some
examples of industrial wastes are chemical
solvebts,paints,sand paper ,paper products,industrial by
products and radio active wastes.Sewage tretment plants
can treat some industrial wastes.ETP or effulent
treatment plant can also treat some industrial
waster.Although Frank group don't have any ETP but
they have personal washing factory through which they
try to treat wastes in a productive use.

• Smart jeans limited
• Pacific jeans limited

35. For raw materials:
when Frank group buys raw materials from local supplier
they use their own covered van to bring these goods to
their own warehouse.
For finished goods
When Frank group complete finished goods processing they
need to deliver these cargoes to buyers on time that's why
they largely depends on CNF because most of Frank group
buyers are from USA,UK and Australia.
