5. Distributors A large HMV in the centre of Manchester WHSmiths is one of the largest news agent is Britain. My magazine has quite a general theme to it with quite a large audience, however it is quite expensive for smaller retailers in sparsely populated areas stock so it would mainly be distributed by larger companies who can afford to have it taking up shelf space such as WH Smiths or music stores like HMV in larger towns and cities. My estimated sales figures are about 50 000 per month.
6. What about social groups and audiences? My survey shows that the magazine appeals to young people particularly older teens. The USP is a magazine covering both Indie and Rock music listeners, and it is them who the magazine is aimed at. These social groups are represented by the dark colour scheme and relaxed scruffy look of the main image.
7. How did I attract my audience? I attracted my audience by releasing questionnaires on facebook made in survey monkey. They consisted of a group of my friends that I contacted through facebook.

9. What have I learnt in the progression from start to finish? Starting off with no knowledge of Photoshop at all was a huge challenge but as I progressed I’ve learnt loads. Brushes, curves and adjustments to name a few. Learning how to manipulate the text such as stroke and blending has really helped to make my final project.
