Effects of Multitasking Multitasking is becoming very significant on the workplace to complete the task in less time. In fact, some people believe that
multitasking saves time and can be done at all together. On the other hand, some people think that it is a distracting activity which leads to a lack of
concentration. According to David Silverman, "In Defense of Multitasking", multitasking is "crucial to survival in today's workplace" (522). However,
I do not agree because multitasking reduces productivity, increases stress levels and it is, especially, problematic for students. David Silverman believes

to which people do not focus properly on them and results in lower efficiency. Multitaskers omit much information and it takes time to refocus on both

Moving further, people who multitask or do two complicated task at once face many stress problems. Multiple task creates a big issue to focus and
difficult for brain to get the information efficiently. Multitasking is mostly done by homemakers because they do at least two or three tasks
concurrently. Daily multitasking increase their stress levels as well as increases the chances of forgetting things. Stress is directly related to health

When we are holding things in short–term memory, we have to rehearse them otherwise they disappear, like a light going out. This requires cognitive
effort, and the more things we are rehearsing the more effort. The waiter's trick is thus to keep spinning the plates of the open orders whilst letting

The contents in Act 1 were very helpful for me. Actually, most of them have been heard before, but its logical and scientific approach made me
completely understand the significance of the brain–base theory, and encouraged me to try it. I have changed my lifestyle a lot, after I read this book.

I spent more than 2 hours for searching it, and still haven't purchased it yet, and delayed many tasks. I have so many things to finish in this weekend,
and it was just a simple decision making. It was urgent, and it was not so significant money to my life, so it didn't matter whatever I chose. I should
have simplified it and focused on the important things.
3. Group information into chunks whenever you have too much information.
This method is helpful for the next step. Even I finish defining my tasks and simplifying information, sometimes it is still confusing. After creating
chunks for my tasks and grouping them, I can easily set the priorities. Usually my hunks are; "school – assignments, projects", "school – preparation for
exams", "family affairs", "church affairs", and "financial management".
4. Prioritize prioritizing, as it's an energy–intensive activity.
I usually prioritize my tasks with following orders; "Import and urgent", "urgent but not important", "important but not urgent", and "neither important
and urgent". Once I decide the order for implementation, I try to focus only on the highest priority that I haven't finished.
5. Schedule the most attention–rich tasks when you have a fresh and alert mind. Although I'm more of a night owl, I can feel that I have fresher mind
in the morning. I usually do the complicate task that needs a lot of brain working in the morning.

physically active tend to live longer and age slower.
According to three of the studies' results shown in this article the best our physical condition is and the more we exercise the better our brain works.
One of the studies showed that old men's brains that have a good physical condition worked almost like the brain of people younger than them. In fact
men of the same age but with bad physical condition have a slower mental activity.
The second study was about two groups of old women of the same age. One of the group went to the gym for a year, two times a week, for resistant
training. On the other hand the other group went to the gym for one year, but only one day per week for a balance training program. As a result the
first group showed less lesions in the brain white matter than the other group.
In the third study researchers compared the strength of legs' muscles in twins to their mental skills. The results of the study showed that the twin with

Our group thought that was a good idea and had begun ballooning our ideas with one another. It was until we started to hear other group's skits and

My Reflection For My Contributions In Math And Education
Contributions For this class, how I plan on contributing is by engaging into discussions a hundred percent with good textbook citations to support
my idea or thoughts. I will ask my questions on the Q&A discussion board if there are questions I have so if there are others wondering. My goals
for this class is that after I will be able to engage my children more into math and science and have more activities to get them excited. Also to get the
children more involved with the activity, asking questions to getting them more engaging and yearning for more activities around that subject. My

Time Management
Right now my schedule is pretty busy, I work Monday through Friday 8 am till 5 pm at MAAC Head Start. So I am managing my time very critical
currently. I do my homework after work and check my canva to make sure that I am staying on top of my assignments everyday. I like to be ahead of
my assignments so if I do want to take one night off then I am not worried that I will get behind. I just need to make sure I give myself enough time
to do the readings, I noticed that I take a while to do the readings so for the further reading I need to start right after work and take my time writing
notes and making sure I really understand the material. I believe if I stay focused and continue to work on homework and reading assignments
