2. Included in the Project Ss will design some recipe cards to hand out with heart-healthy tips on one
side and the recipe on the other as well as a video program with their Healthy cooking show. Also, Ss will
create a poster of the human circulatory system according to RB pg 255.
The project is based on Expository Writing and the Listening & Speaking Workshop at the end of
Unit 4 RB pgs. 256-261 and WB pg 125. According to this workshop, Ss will give a How-to Demonstration,
such as cooking a heart-healthy recipe and checking your heart rate. This also complies with the new
Reform programs to include Physical Health in our Curriculum.
