About the Project
• “SMART IT” Project, NO 2016-RO 01-KA102-023670 was funded by
the European Commission, with a grant of 85.360 €.
• The beneficiary of the project was the “Gheorghe Vranceanu”
National College, Bacau
• The project was implemented in the 2016-2017 period
• During the project, 34 high school students had the opportunity to
gain IT experience by working in European companies

Mission & Objectives
Mission of the Project
• Interinstitutional cooperation in an European
level for encouraging the students in an IT
career, according to their initial preparation,
by increasing the service qualities guaranteed
by the college, the professional competences
of the students & the accrual of the IT domain
attractivity
Objectives of the project
• O1: The development of 3 transnational
partnerships for increasing the international
dimension of the organizations, I order to
offer services that respond to Europeans’
needs
• O2: The increasing of number of high school
students, Mathematics-Computer Science
classes, that consider the IT domain attractive,
in order to orientate them in an IT career
• O3: The development of knowledge, skills and
professional IT capacities of 34 participants in
a real environment, for 3 weeks

Conclusions
• The studentsgained new theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the topic
of the Mobility they were in
• All participants improved their English language proficiency during the stay
• Additionally, they directly experienced the social and cultural life of Germany/
Greece, thus gaining suggestions for their own educational and working future
• The participants got to know the advantages and opportunities of international
exchanges within the member-countriesof the European Community and they
experienced an improvement of their technical, linguistic, intercultural and
social capabilities.
