Hi Mark;
Our report on the Oasis experiment that we conducted here at the office is attached.
As I mentioned, we can’t endorse specific products as a government agency, but you can see from our test that the Oasis saved quite a bit of water for the
I’d recommend doing a larger study, perhaps with the University of Florida Research and Education Center in Immokalee (239-658-3400).
Let me know if you have any questions. I’d be interested in seeing the results of a larger study, or one done on young trees, since citrus is my specialty.

Good Afternoon Tom & Mark,
Things are going well here, and I hope that you guys are doing well also. I
apologize for taking all day to get back to you as we've been slammed the
past week or so trying to get last minute orders out the door before
Thanksgiving. Just to bring you guys up to speed, we've sent GN the
information regarding the tooling and are waiting to hear back from them in
regards to preliminary designs and recommendations. I received both of your
emails the other day regarding the single mold with the 3 different sizes,
and also the pictures from Mark showing the oasis at work, so please excuse
my tardiness in responding as I've been working all weekend trying to get
caught up with things here. Once we get a general design in place, Dave
will have the conversation with them regarding the single mold and the 3
different sizes and we'll see what options are available and what they
recommend for this to run the most efficiently. The pictures Mark forwarded
are amazing. That system you've designed is conserving a ton of water and
is clearly going to reduce the amount of water people will need to use. In
regards to meeting up tomorrow or Friday, I am going out of town tomorrow
morning for Thanksgiving and Dave has an appointment scheduled tomorrow
afternoon before he heads out of town on Wednesday for Thanksgiving. Is it
possible to maybe schedule a conference call for next week or so? Thanks.

10. Good Afternoon Mark,
Dave has been out of the office most of the day here, but I wanted to get back to you today regarding the
below email you sent earlier.
Once there is a design/drawing for this item, I don’t see why it would be an issue to use that on your
website.
During our meeting Wednesday, if I remember correctly, I believe you said that you were currently using
our
13” & 16 compartment trays in your application and that you were looking
for tools to be made in those 2 sizes to be vacuum formed.
Are you looking to add a couple additional sizes to these two as well? Regardless, I sent 3 units of each
our 12”, 13”, 16”, & 18” compartment trays to Tom’s attention this afternoon so you can play around with
the
different sizes. In terms of the output on our trays right now
, I will need to get specific cycle times on each of the sizes to give you accurate information.
However, right now these trays are injection molded which is going to be a little bit slower
of a process compared to having these vacuum formed like we had discussed the other day.
Are you looking to get things up and going using the current injected trays we have right now,
or are you wanting to wait until everything is in line to begin vacuum forming these?
Thanks and have a great weekend.
Best Regards,
D.J. Kaercher
