strong
white
flour
• ½
teaspoon
of
salt
• 1
tablespoon
of
olive
oil
• 160ml
warm
water
• 8g
fresh
yeast
• Pinch
of
caster
sugar
Method
• Mix
the
yeast
with
warm
water
and
sugar.
• Sieve
the
flour
and
salt
into
a
bowl.
• Add
the
yeasted
water
to
the
flour
along
with
the
olive
oil.
• Mix
to
a
dough
and
knead
for
10
minutes.
• Shape
the
dough
into
a
ball
and
place
in
an
oiled
bowl
to
prove.
Leave
covered
with
a
cloth
or
lightly
oiled
cling
film
for
between
1
and
2
hours.
When
the
dough
has
doubled
in
size
it’s
ready.
• Punch
down
the
dough
and
knead
back
to
a
ball
of
dough.
• Roll
out
with
a
rolling
pin
to
a
round
shape.
• Spread
a
thin
layer
of
tomato
sauce
on
the
base
and
leave
½
an
inch
around
the
edge
without
any
sauce.
• Add
your
chosen
ingredients
to
half
of
the
pizza
base,
fold
over
to
form
a
pasty
like
shape
and
carefully
crimp
the
edges.
• Egg
wash
the
folded
calzone
and
bake
at
240c
for
15
minutes
or
until
golden
brown.
