  1. 1. Akıtma (Crepe)
  2. 2. Ingredients• 1 cup all-purpose flour• 2 eggs• 1/2 cup milk• 1/2 cup water• 1/4 teaspoon salt• 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  3. 3. Instructions
  4. 4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flourand the eggs. Gradually add in the milk andwater, stirring to combine. Add the salt andbutter; beat until smooth.
  5. 5. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over mediumhigh heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, usingapproximately 1/4 cup for each “akıtma”. Tilt the panwith a circular motion so that the batter coats the surfaceevenly.
  6. 6. Cook “akıtma” for about 2 minutes, until thebottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula,turn and cook the other side. Serve hot.
  7. 7. Peynirli Pide(Flat Bread with Cheese)
  8. 8. Ingredients• Bread or Pizza Dough • Turkish Kashar or Asiago cheese, grated. • Plain Yogurt
