1. DISLOCATION
A dislocation is a separation of 2 bones where they meet
at a joint. Joints are areas where 2 bones come together. A
dislocated joint is a joint where the bones are no longer
in their normal positions. It may be hard to tell a
dislocated joint from a broken bone.
STRAIN
Strain is an injury to a muscle or tendon (fibrous cords
of tissue that connect muscle to bone). In a strain, a
muscle or tendon is stretched or torn.
KNEE INJURY
The knee is one of the most common body parts to be injured.
Types of knee injuries include sprains, strains, bursitis,
dislocations, fractures, meniscus tears, and overuse
injuries. Knee injuries are generally caused by twisting or
bending force applied to the knee, or a direct blow, such as
from sports, falls, or accidents.
