The student found an exhibition on the deportation of French Jews during the Holocaust to be informative and easy to understand through explanatory photographs, though the images made them feel sad about the suffering of people who were not at fault. The photograph that impacted them the most showed Jews being deported in animal wagons surrounded by barbed wire so they could not escape or see outside, with the eyes of those inside reflecting panic, fear and despair over their treatment like animals.

1. I have found the exhibition interesting because I have learned new things on
this topic. It has been easy to understand because in the photographs
everything was very well explained. It was very visual. After seeing the
photos I felt bad and sad to see how people suffered without fault.
The photo that has impacted me the most has been the one of the deportation
of the French Jews. As you can see, they were taken in some animal wagons
and were surrounded by barbed wire so that they could neither escape nor
stick their heads out to see. The eyes of the people who were inside that
horrible car reflected panic, fear and despair.
That photo has caught my attention because of the barbed wire that the
wagon had. Another reason is that it shows that they were treated like
animals. That is the reason why I felt very sad.
