Students and faculty will soon have tasty and healthy options with meatless Mondays. This program will give students a more nutritious diet and help

With meatless Mondays, students will reduce the risk of heart disease by eating polyunsaturated fat, which is the good kind of fat in vegetable oils and
nuts instead of high–saturated foods, like red meat and fatty dairy products.
Meals with more fruits and vegetables can reduce the risk of several different cancers among many other diseases. Vegetarians generally have lower

March was a busy month on Harper 2 but that didn't stop Alexis Fregoso. During the month of March Alexis showed some great leadership by

Well Alexis is your guy. Alexis knows a great deal about cars and he has helped countless of my residents with their car troubles. Not only has he

This project was exciting to complete, as we rarely have prepared anything like this before. Beginning by looking at the roster of students, I was able
to recognize how I would group the students. I knew, however, that I wanted to avoid groups larger than five students. I also understood, from the ideas
of many education classes that the best pedagogical solution would be to include a mixture of performance levels. Because of these implications, my
first set of groupings consisted of the grade of the student, followed by a break down of their level.
Continuing from the grade breakdown, the second breakdown comprised of both the performance level of the student and whether or not they had a
private teacher. The third grade violin players, for example, include twelve students. Looking at those twelve players, two of them take private
lessons. For the best pedagogical outcome, I believed these two students should be divided into different lesson groups and used as a model or helper
to the rest of the students. Most likely, the students with private teachers will be performing and/or learning faster than the speed of my class, therefore
allowing time and energy to help with the other students. For the other remaining students, the other level two students would act as the model and

Join This Year Aas Meeting
I would say that I am fairly lucky to have a chance to join this year AAS meeting because not many first–year graduate students usually come to the
meeting. My main goals for this meeting are attending my first "Astropy" workshop and presenting the progress of my current research project about
finding galaxy clusters. The size and the scale of this meeting is completely different from my first scientific meeting I attended last year in Vietnam.
There are more than ten sessions running at the same time covered not only all kinds of research topics in astrophysics from exoplanet to cosmology, but
also public outreach and other astrophysics–related topics such as coding and writing papers. The conference can easily felt overwhelming as many
events occurs simultaneously. I can only write about the conference from my own perspective, and keep in mind that each one of us will have a totally

Summary Of Saboteur By Ha Jin
Ha Jin's short story "Saboteur" tells of a man who seems discontent, idealistic, and gravely ill. In Muji, Mr. Chui, is accused of sabotage and taken by
force to jail after a run in with railroad authorities. His crime is for speaking out against police officers assaulting him and his bride during lunch in the
city square. The reader is lead to believe this is a simple case of excessive force by the police, therefore the abuse of power is the catalyst of this short
story, but the real story is about Mr. Chui's contempt for all those around him and his utter lack of integrity.

At the railroad police station, he is interrogated for hours by the bureau chief, who demands a confession. Professing his innocence, he is defiant about
not signing a letter of self–criticism. "Your police station owes me an apology" (Jin). Feeling sick, his hepatitis flairs under the stress, but he is left
imprisoned until Monday when the chief returns.
Monday morning his bride sends a former student of Mr. Chui, Fenji, a lawyer from a small firm of two attorneys to get him out of jail. The
young man confronts and insults the chief, who sends him to the yard in the heat to learn some manners. Mr. Chui sees Fenji from his window
and feels nauseous "Poor devil, he thought, as he raised a bowl of corn glue to his mouth" (Jin). He realizes he has to sign the confession to get
them out of jail. After signing, Mr. Chui is so sick he can barely walk" (Jin), if he were able to he would razed the entire police station and
eliminated all their families" (Jin). Once outside, Mr. Chui and Fenji, begin to walk around the station stopping at several restaurants to eat and drink
small amounts of food. Fenji watch his teacher mutter to himself and "and for the first time Fenji thought of Mr. Chui as an ugly man." (Jin). Muji

School Reflection
The week of October16th through October 20th was pretty busy. I had three ARD meetings this week but none of them depicted any issues. All the
parents were very complimentary of the teachers and their assistance in providing their children with the necessary tools to be academically
successfully. We had our school homecoming onMonday so I was busy assisting the committee on preparation for the evening event. All eight grade
teachers are required to be a part of this committee so that includes me. I enjoy events like this because when you participate the students (most)
appreciate your hard work and seeing you there at their special event. After school on Monday, October 16th I assisted the band director, cheerleading
coach, and football coach in lining up the students outside so we could have a couple run through practices on how the evening would transpire. It was
nice seeing all the students and faculty coming together to coordinate and plan such a memorable event. As usual, on Tuesday and Thursday of this
week I went to Alexander High School immediately after finishing at Trautmann (whew!). We continued working with the students whose STAAR,
benchmark, and CBA scores were low last year so that we can bring them up to par. We have been mainly focusing on seniors, specialeducation, and
ELL students so that we can continue documenting procedural safeguards on these students. So far, the numbers have been slowly increasing as we
