When I was ten, I built a windmill. Complete with a bicycle generator and little light bulb. A windmill that turned into the wind on a hinge made of jam jar lids. Seven years later I made my first (recumbent-) bike, together with my dad. Copenhagen wasn't that far away anymore. Over the years I've learned that, as a designer of products, it's the intangible stuff that creates the true value and meaning designers can help create. At 31volts, we do just that.
