A. Background
 Rating& Gradingan importantprojectmonitoringand qualityimprovementtool as envisagedinthe DDU-
GKY SoP manual andguidelines.
 ORMAS tookuponitself the mandate toputin place
 a comprehensive,objective,androbustTrainingCentre (TC) centre andPIA RatingandGrading
mechanism
 To rate and grade all itstrainingcentresandPIAsacross the state.
B. Objective ofRating & Grading
 To lay a firmfoundationtoencourage goodPIAs andto motivate otherPIAstoimprove.
 To ensure bestperformance fromall DDU-GKYtrainingcentres
 To facilitate comparisonof aprojectandits subcomponentswithotherprojects.
 To facilitate comparisonof performance of PIAs - withinthe state.

PIA dataforprocessing and obtaining graderesults.
D. Methodsof Rating & Grading
Rating & Grading will be based on
 Objective measuresusingdatacapturedinvarious informationsystemsandasspecifiedinSOP
 On-site inspectionsof trainingcentres
 Documentcheckand verification
 Interactionwithtrainers,trainingstaff,trainees,parents,employersandPIA personnel
 Thoughrating wouldbe a dynamicandongoingprocess,gradingwouldbe applicable andcanchange from
batch to batch.
 The grades arrivedatthe endof a financial year(endof March) will be reportedasyearlygrading.

Objective ofRating & Grading  To lay a firmfoundationtoencourage goodPIAs andto motivate otherPIAstoimprove.  To ensure bestperformance fromall DDU-GKYtrainingcentres  To facilitate comparisonof aprojectandits subcomponentswithotherprojects.  To facilitate comparisonof performance of PIAs - withinthe state. Componentsof Rating and Grading tool  GuidelinesandConceptNote TC & PIA Rating& GradingTool  Guidelines and ConceptNotetalksaboutthe objectivesandmethodologyof the ratingand grading exercise  Questionnaire TCRating& GradingTool and Questionnaire PIA Rating&GradingTool  The questionnaireisthe tool to capturedata fromthefield and bring it to the processing stage.  TC & PIA Rating& Grading MIS  TC & PIA Rating & Grading MISis an MS Excel tool,sort of mini MIS,with data fields to input TC and PIA dataforprocessing and obtaining graderesults. D. Methodsof Rating & Grading Rating & Grading will be based on  Objective measuresusingdatacapturedinvarious informationsystemsandasspecifiedinSOP  On-site inspectionsof trainingcentres  Documentcheckand verification  Interactionwithtrainers,trainingstaff,trainees,parents,employersandPIA personnel  Thoughrating wouldbe a dynamicandongoingprocess,gradingwouldbe applicable andcanchange from batch to batch.  The grades arrivedatthe endof a financial year(endof March) will be reportedasyearlygrading.

Training Centre Infrastructure and Infrastructure of Residential Facility(TC-CT-1:TCI & IRF) a) Standards and Instruction for assessment (Training Centre) Marks are assigned for each category if it fulfils a criteria. Other areas b) 7 feet 6 inches for other areas.
