1. Ice Breaker
Sounds of Animals
- For this energizer, I need one representative from each section to go in front to pick a
paper. So now you can tell your classmates about the animal that you’ve pick. For the
group who are assigned to cat, when I mention “cat” your group stands up and make
the sound of a cat by saying “meow” (with action). When I mention “dog” the group
assigned to that animal will stand up and make the sound of a dog by saying “aw aw”
(with action). For bird, say “tweet tweet” (with action). For snake, say “Sssss” (with
action). For pig, say “oink oink” (with action). For wolf, “awooo” (with action). For goat,
“meeehhh’ (with action), and for tiger, say “roar” (with action).
2. How to Manage Your Time Better
- Get a piece of paper and divide it into 3 columns. In the first column, you would list all
the tasks included in your typical day. In the second column, you would write how much
time you spend doing those tasks. I will give you 5 minutes to answer the first and
second column. (Times up) In the third column, you will tell us how you balance doing
those tasks. I will also give you 5 minutes to answer the third column.
3. How to Take Great Notes
Pass the Message
- For this activity, we need two representatives for each section. Those representatives
must come in front. So, we will be having two groups. Eight members each group. We
will give one member of each group a written message. This member will read the
message and make a mental note of it. Then he/she will pass the message to the person
next to him/her. This process will continue till the last member of each group receives
the message. The last member of each group will write down the message that was
passed to him/her. The faster the team, the better.
Motivation is what gets you started.Habit is what keeps you going.
