life of Virginia Woolf.

 Lily begins portraits of Mrs. Ramsay at the
beginning of the novel but still in the end of
the novel she was unable to complete.
 She undergoes with drastic transformation in
the novel.

6. Hester as an individual
character:
 She was portrayed as a intelligent and fighter
in the novel.
 Prominent mother figure to the women of the
Puritan Society.
 Circumstances which she faced makes her
important character.
 Struggles for acceptance.
 Pearl was the reason oh her raise in the novel.
 At the end, she stood alone in the novel as an
individual.

path maker.
 Lily’s character very near to the Virginia’s
real life.
 Same way Nathaniel Portraits some of his
personal experiences which he had gone
threw with the help of Hester’s character.
 Both are decision makers.
 Both the novel can be consider as a
Feministic novel.
