In this i have described the introduction of LIFI technology and history of LIFI like who invent this technology and also i have described the working of LIFI. How its works and how we can get the data from the light. in the LIFI we just have to use VLC. and i have also described the Applications areas of LIFI technology where it can b used. LIfi is more speedy in comparison of WIFI.

3. INTRODUCTION
 Li-Fi is a wireless optical network
technology.
 Li-Fi uses LED’s to transmitting data.
 In Li-Fi an LED’s bulb varies the data
faster than HUMAN EYE can notice.
 It’s the Fast & Cheap wireless
communication system.
 Li-Fi is based on Visible Light
Communication(VLC).

Prof. Harald Hass
LI-FI invented by German
Physicist Harald Hass, from
the University of Edinburgh,
U.K.
In the year 2011 he first
introduced to the world this
new technology.
He envisions a future where
data for laptops and other
mobile devices is transmitted
through a light in a room.

5. WORKING
Operational procedure is very simple.
If the LED is ON, you transmit a
digital 1.
If the LED is OFF, you transmit a
digital 0.
The LED’s can switched ON and OFF
very quickly, which gives nice
opportunities for transmitting data.
