2. BECOME A NEUROSURGEON
My biggest and most important
life goal is to become a
neurosurgeon.
I still have yet to study more
about the brain and its
properties.
3. LEARN MORE LANGUAGES
I am currently on an online Latin
course.
I am also interested in learning
Korean. I have been studying the
language so I can move or visit
there when I grow up.
4. GET GOOD GRADES, AND ALSO
STUDY TO GET INTO A GOOD
UNIVERSITY
I feel that getting good grades
is a good thing, and also makes
me feel accomplished. I also
need good grades to become a
neurosurgeon.
I accomplished getting straight
A’s my freshman year, so I will
try my best so it will be the
same for this year, and so on.
5. COMMUNITY SERVICE
I am currently in Key club with
the school. Last year, I had
over 130 hours, and I wish to
do so this year too.
I helped out with my Japanese
teacher at a week long summer
camp over the summer.
6. READ MORE BOOKS
I haven’t read many books
recently, and because
“knowledge is power”, I want to
try reading more books this
year, and throughout my
lifetime as well.
I read “Escape from Camp 14”
over the summer about a
refugee from a prison camp in
North Korea. It was very
interesting and I learned many
things from it.
8. GET BETTER AT JAPANESE
I helped out with my Japanese
teacher at a summer program,
where I spoke Japanese there.
I also went to Japan over the
summer for one-and-a-half
months where I spoke to
people and my cousins in
Japanese.
9. LEARN LATIN
I am taking an online Latin
course, and I am slowly
learning word by word.
10. STUDY MORE OFTEN
I have to study for my PSAT,
and I am studying a lot for my
Latin course.
