Who was Ghokale ?
गोखले कोण होते ?
 Born on 1st May ,1866 at Ratnagiri in
Brahim .
 गोखले याांचा जन्म १ मे १८६६ रोजी रत्नागगरी
येथे ब्राहमन कु टुांबात झाला.
 After Completion of primary education
he joined Deccan Education Society,
Poona. And completed graduate from
Elphinstone college, Mumbai.
 प्राथममक मशक्षण पूणाा झाल्या नांतर गोखले याांनी
डेक्कन एड्युके शन सोसायटी आणी मुांबई येथील
एल्ल्िन््टोणे महाविद्यालया मधून पदिी पूणा
के ली.
 After completion of his education, he
joined D. E. S. And spent 20 years. He
worked as a secretary.
 गोखले याांनी मशक्षण पूणाा के ल्या नांतर डेक्कन
एड्युके शन सोसायटी मध्ये नौकारी के ली.
जिळपास २० िर्ाा गोखलेंनी ततथे काम के ले.
सां्थाचे सगचि म्हणून काम के ले.

 He was influenced by his great
teacher Mr.Ranade and great thinker
Dadabhai Nawroji, Raja Ram Mohan
Roy.
 गोखले याांचािर रानडे, दादाभाई निरोजी आणी
राजा राम मोहन रॉययाांचा प्रभाि होता.
 He had faith in British liberalism. He
visited 7 times to England.
 ब्रब्रटटश उदरमतिाद िर गोखले याांची श्रद्धा होती
 म्हणून त्याांनी ७ िेळा इांग्लांड ला भेट टदली.
 He believed in British sense of
Justice and the British rule in
India was for the betterment of
Indians.
 ब्रब्रटटशच्या न्ययच्या जाणीिेिर गोखलेचा
विश्िास होता.
 He believed in constitutionalism.
 गोखले याांचा विश्िास सविधानिाद िर
होता.
 He was greatly inspired by
western liberalism.
 पगचमत्या उदरमतिाद्द कडून गोखले
याांना प्रेरणा ममळाली.

 He was main exponent decentralization of
power.
 गोखले याांनी सत्तेचे विकें द्रीकरण समथान के ले.
 His mission was ‘spiritualization of
politics’(spritiual-deep thought,feeling &
emotions rather than the body or physical thing
)
 He always insisted on purity of ends and means.
 गोखले याांनी नेहमीच साधने आणण साध्या खरी असली
पाटहजेत याचा आग्रह धरला.
 He accepted the concepts of negotiations,
mediation and compromise
 He says that British rule in India was
a blessing.
 रानडे याांचा मते ब्रब्रटटश सत्ता भरता मध्ये
आमशिााद आहे.
 There should be Hindu-Muslim unity.
 भरता मध्ये टहांदू – मु्लीम एक्य पाहीजे.
 Lack of industrialization & too much
dependance on land is cause of
backwardness in India.
 आधोगीकरण चा आभि आणी आतत प्रमाणात
शेती िर आिलांबून आसने हे भारतीय मागासले
पानाची कारणे आहेत.
 Individual liberty should be
preserved .
 व्यक्तीक ्िातांत्रची जपणूक
झालीचा
पाटहजे.

maximum right.
