2. Legitimacy is the confidence of the people In
the existing political system.
It promotes to the population accepts
naturally without questioning the
organization to which it belongs.
A government is said to be legitimate if the
people to whom its orders are directed
believe that the structure, procedure, acts ,
decision, policies, officials or leaders of the
government posses the quality .
3. Political authority is based on the
acceptance of the right to rule is called
legitimacy.
It is the principle which indicates the
acceptance on the part of the public of the
occupancy of a political office by a particular
person, or the exercise of power by a person
or group on the grounds that occupancy or
exercise of power is in accordance with
some generally accepted principles and
procedures of enforcement of authority.
4. It represent the state of affairs which
threatens with the loss of capacity to imagine
,prepare and build the future.
A crisis is not a situation. It is incapacity to
act.
Crisis is occurred when government is
unable to fulfill the basic need of the country
and whenever the people are exploited and
suppressed.
In Indian case there is lack of respect for law.
5. Most people regard the rules as irritating
inconveniences to be followed only if other
alternatives are more irritating, more costly
or unavailable.
Corruption violates on all side the values of
legalism.
People abuse power due to its practice of
corruption and the law takes a back seat in
term of both social consciousness and
social organization.
6. Group Interest .
Inequity.
No equal distribution of goods and
resources.
7. Right to recall.
Uneducated leader rule over educated &
Intellectual people.
Leaders feel themselves as Superior person
than voters.
Numbers of dangerous scam.
Criminals- high dignitaries in society – political
leaders and Goondas.
Role of Goondas in election time for rigging of
voters.
8. Black money of politician.
Police is unable due to muscle, money and
political power.
Rowdy Sheeters.
Dacoits became the member of Parliament (
MP) – Phoolan Devi.
Rape, Murder, dacoits has been registered on
some MPs.
Role of Swamijis who influences the ministers
and officers and get their work done easily.
Party politics –different parties get power at
central and state level- conflict of power.
Overlapping the administration.
