2. What it is and why it is strange the ABO Elementary School
The ABO Elementary School is a school situated in Artesia, New Mexico. It was the first public
school in the United States constructed entirely underground and used as an advanced fallout
shelter. It was completed in 1962 and it had room for emergency, where more than 2000 people
could enter if any catastrophe occurred.

3. What it is and why it is strange the Gulu Elementary School.
Children that live in the Gulu village, in China, go to this school, known as ‘the
school in clouds’ because the Gulu village is a very high point in China. It’s very
risky going there, it can take five hours to arrive there. There is only one teacher,
Shen Qijun and he has been working there 26 years.
