  1. 1. Cathedral of Cologne <ul><li>The building of Cathedral of Cologne was started in 1270 and took 600 years to complete. It is 144.5 m long, 86.5 m wide and its two towers are 157 m tall and consist of five nefs. Central nef is the biggest on high. The Cathedral holds the remains of the Three Kings and was one of the most important pilgrim churches of the Medieval Europe. </li></ul>
  2. 2. <ul><li>Perhaps the most famous relic enshrined within cathedral Cologne is the Sarcophagus of the Magi. This great sarcophagus is from the 13th century and is considered to be the largest reliquary in the western world. The sarcophagus is thought to hold the remains of the three wise men. Also of note in the church is an altar painting of the city's patron saints as well as Gero Cross-the oldest crucifix in Northern Europe. </li></ul>

Today it is one of the most visited monuments in Germany. Six million persons in a year come to look this sight of Keln .
