2. HISTORY OF QUEZON PROVINCE
Quezon Province is bounded on the north by the province of Aurora, on the
west by the provinces of Laguna and Rizal, on the southwest by the province
of Batangas and on the southeast by Camarines Quezon's topography is
characterized by rugged terrain with few plains, valleys and swamps. Only
narrow strips of land along the coast and river valley are available for
growing crops. The undulating lowlands along the coast are well drained.
The province is very narrow, averaging about thirty (30) kilometers by its
width.
Slope of the province ranges from 0-3% slopes and above. The
topography of the area permits prime agricultural activities within the
province.Norte and Camarines Sur.
3. HOW TO GET IN QUEZON PROVINCE
Take a taxi, jeepney or bus going to the designated bus terminals for Jac Liner, Jam
Liner or Lucena Lines. I always ride Jac Liner bus because they are new, the seats
are comfortable and I feel safe with them. Not to mention there’s a free wi-fi on
board. Regular fare from Buendia to Lucena is Php209.50.

8. Salibungot Beach
one of the most visited places in Quezon Province, a very unusual yet beautiful
beach. There are hundreds of popular beaches in the Philippines, white sand, pink
sand, grey sand beaches but this one is a unique golden sand beach! It is a very long
stretch of unspoiled golden sand beach with beautiful turquoise sea water.
9. KAMAY NI HESUS
Kamay ni Hesus Shrine at Lucban in Quezon is a sought-after pilgrimage
destination known for its miraculous healing masses and the steep hill that leads to a
majestic Risen Christ statue. Given the Philippines’ rich Catholic culture, it is no
surprise that thousands of devotees flock here, especially every Holy Week to repent,
reflect, and give thanks.
11. COUNT THE HERITAGE HOUSES
I counted about 9 and I wasn’t that focus yet. I believe there are more waiting to be
explored and stamped with National Heritage Institute.
12. EXPLORE LUCBAN CHRUCH
his is the very church where Pahiyas originated. It started when locals begin to offer a
portion of their harvest to the parish church as their thanksgiving to St. Isidro Labrador
13. WALK IN TAYABAS CHURCH AISLE
Tayabas church has the longest aisle in the country- that’s because of the continues
repair of the church. So a lot of brides want to get married here, so they have more
time to think if they would say “I do” to the groom.
18. PANCIT HAB HAB
Pancit Habhab or Pancit Lucban is a pancit version that originated from the Quezon
province. This noodle dish might look like the traditional Pancit Canton, but there are
some notable differences.
19. YEMA CAKE
Yema Cake is a simple and delicious cake made from sponge or chiffon cake,
filled and covered with egg custard “Yema Frosting” or “Dulce de Leche” and
top with grated cheese.
