2. Halifax Town Centre
Halifax town centre is going be used as one
of my location. The boy is going to be
walking through the town centre to get to
the girl. I am using the town centre because
it will be busy as I am filming over Christmas
time and it also relates to my target
audience teenagers as they go to town on a
weekend with their friends to socialise.
When the boy is in town he will not go in to
any shops, but he will walk past them. He
will walk past shops such as Top shop, Top
man and River Island. This is good as it will
another way my target audience which are
teens will be able to engage with the music
video and related too it.
3. Beachwood Park, Halifax
Beachwood Park is going to be
one of my locations. The boy is
going to be walking through
the park to get to the girl. I am
using a park as it relates to my
teenager target audience as
they go to the park with their
friends to hangout.
4. Trinity Academy 6th form,
Halifax
Trinity Academy 6th form is going to be my
main location for my music video and I
am going to use different rooms within
the school. One reason I am going to use
the school as it is an easy location for me
and my actors to get to and it is also free
for me to use and film in. Another reason
for using the school is that it is relatable
to my target audience again as they will
go to school themselves or will have just
finished school. This is the building where
the drama room is located, where the girl
is going to be playing on the piano.
5. The study room in 6th form
I am going to use the study room in 6th
form for one of my locations for when
the boy is sat in the computer room as
there is computers in the study room. It
is also perfect as there are big widows
for when he thinks he sees the reflection
of the girl. Again this location is relatable
for my target audience teenagers as it is
set in a school.
6. Drama Studio
I am using the drama room at
Trinity Academy because it has
the big drop curtains to make it
look plain and then they have all
the lighting so I will be able to put
stop lights on the girl and I will be
able to change the lighting to
create the mood. This is the room
where the girl is constantly going
to be and the piano will also be in
this room.
7. My House, Illingworth
I am going to use my house as a location for when the boy is
sat on the couch looking through his phone. This is going to
relate to teens as they always sit in the room and chill on the
couch.
