Nebuchadnezzar was a king of Babylon from 605 BC to 562 BC, who is known for the Babylonian captivity of the Israelites. He conquered Judah and Jerusalem, and had the Israelites taken into exile in Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar is also famous for building the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
