Music has the unique abilities to cross age, race and SES barriers. The act of music is rarely ever solitary. Music will bring the community together: to teach, to share and to explore.
Turning trash into treasure. Not only is this an act of recycling to turn cans into drums, bottles into maracas and kleenex boxes into guitars, but also plays into creativity. Creativity is an initiative that Sir Ken Robinson has been pushing for many years. Creativity can not be measured or pushed, but it is a process. Letting kids or adults experiment with different sounds and instruments.
