 If clubs are not yet on social media sites

The “Next Gener’s”
             or those born after 1980
•Have grown up expecting communication
•Expect their emails to be answered quickly
•Do not like hierarchy or bureaucracy
•Expect transparency and honesty
•Utilize web sites, cell phones, blogs, and
emails
The Next Gener’s Are…

 Episodic contributors to causes
 Reluctant to fill out membership applications
 Not necessarily brand loyal
 Need to be engaged and interested in an
 organization to continue membership
 They want openness and authenticity
 They are very open-minded
