2. PEN PAL PROJECT
The Pen Pal Project would be a project where groups of students
communicate through computers to students from another country.
A safe chat system similar to Pilot Live will be available for the students.
The students are required to research about their pen pal’s culture and
country.
Students will make a presentation on PowerPoint and present to the class
about their pen pal and what they learned about the culture.
Students will also need to learn a game or sport from their pen pal’s
country and play the game with the class.
3. CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION
• Those who are nimble, flexible, open-minded and
creative will have the edge in the future. They can
create new ideas and new projects.

due to time change and have to be creative when
making their power point presentation.

familiar with the chat program and power point for
their presentation.

and responsible use of information and technology.
• Students will be on a safe chat room and will be
required to use it responsibly during school hours
and supervised by a teacher.

• Students use critical thinking skills to plan and
conduct research, manage projects, solve
problems, and make informed decisions using
appropriate digital tools and resources.
• Students may have to use critical thinking if their
pen pal uses a different language, this could cause
misunderstandings or miscommunication.
7. RESEARCH AND INFORMATION
• Students apply digital tools to gather, evaluate, and
use information.
• They have to conduct research about their pen
pal’s culture and about the game that will be
presented to the class. They will be responsible for
using the right digital resources.
