2. The first step was to open 2 images onto Photoshop.
The image on the left was a photograph that I took myself, the photo on
the right was a similar photograph that I found on Google images.
I then made a new layer and
placed the photo on the left in front
of the one on the right.
I then created a mask layer on the
image at the front.
3. Then select the brush tool and go over the front layer and
the back layer will come through.
When a mistake was made I swapped the colour of the
brush and went over the image to bring back some of the
front layer.

5. What was successful
I have successfully copied Shawn
Clovers Photoshop technique to
produce my own work similar to his.
I have used the mask layer tool to create
5 images in total.
I have clearly shown old and new or
before and after in the photographs by
making the old and before images black
and white and the rest of the image
being in colour.
6. Limitations
The 2 photographs that were used in
this piece were taken from slightly
different spots. Therefore making the
process a lot harder and it looked less
realistic.
