Duties and Responsibilities:
 Provides technical expertise in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Sanitary works to
ensure that the project is delivered in a quality and timely manner though consistent monitoring
and control starting from the pre-construction, construction, up to post construction stage of the
project.
 Bidding processes. Issuance of invitation to bid, preparation of technical and commercial
evaluations up to the awarding of the MPFS contract packages.
 Constant coordination with the MPFS consultants/designers and contractors for the proper
execution of latest approved plans, specs and methodologies harmonized with other trades
involved in the construction of the building.
 Regularly monitors the progress/status of MPFS works if it is subsequent to the approved
schedule or timeline of the project.
 Conducts documented inspections/punch listing to ensure that quality of works of the MPFS
from installation up to testing and commissioning is done by the respective contractors.
 Immediately addresses any case of deviation from the latest approved plan, specification,
methodologies and standards through issuance of letters or non-compliance reports.
 Attends/presides technical meetings to formally discuss, resolve and monitor all issues or
conflicts that are related to MPFS works that hampers or might hamper the schedule of
completion of the project.
 Documentation. Preparation of Notice of Meeting and Agenda, minutes of meetings, Site
instructions, letters, reports, etc. Also includes review of the shop drawings or queries submitted
by contractors prior to comment/approval of the concerned consultants or designers.
