In my opinion, a good teacher should be one who puts her heart into teaching. This is because
only by doing so will the students feel their passion and hard work. When a teacher strives hard
for the students, students will put in their effort as well. If a teacher dislikes her job, goes to
classes in a bad mood, her teaching would also be affected and students would not be able to enjoy
lessons as well.
Another point that makes a good teacher would be his/her patience. Teachers should not get upset or

The issue of teacher shortage today is continuing to grow. The effects of the achievement gap are
reaching the teachers, not just the students: "...good administrators and teachers, who are doing their
best under difficult circumstances, will be driven out of the profession...," (Boyd–Zaharias 41). The
achievement gap is part of the reason teachers feel they are underpaid, which happens to be one

it may be true that boys are more active than girls, but to say that they are treated differently is to

It 's good for the mind and body to have a break, get some sleep, be with friends, eat some food,
etc.; sometimes I just get so excited and focused on going above and beyond that I neglect other,

My Most Memorable Teachers For some reason or another certain students are drawn to particular
teachers while other students are more fond of others. In my life I have studied under three

Teachers and their students have a special relationship; what they do affects each other. Teachers and
students can't survive without one another since there would be no teacher without any student.
Based on this special relationship, a certain expectation has been developed in the classroom
environment. Gradually, some spoken or unspoken rules and systems have been established between
these two individuals which exist till now. On the surface, the main aspect of this relationship has
been founded, typically on responsibility and obligation that these individuals feel about each other,

The qualities of a good teacher are endless, never the less. Nevertheless, among these, we can
mention few basic traits that an educator has to have, in order to be called a capable teacher.
Qualities such as, kindness, self control, duty, reliability, sportsmanship and truthfulness are among
the many of characteristics of a good educator who wants to have a nurturing and nourishing
relationship with students. For example, the kind and reliable teachers are always available for their
students mentally and physically; They spend many of their precious time after school to help a
students learn a subject matter. Through many of our experience that each of us had, during our
schooling period, we could relate to many stories that we have heard or read or encountered
personally about teachers and student relationship. Many of these stories have shown us that the
effect of a good relationship turn a student around and changed his or her life. There are thousand
of stories about students who were in verge of failing or were being expelled from school for good
as a result of their bad behaviors and unacceptable performances. However, a good friend who
happened to be their teachers came to their rescue. Support of these teachers became a turning point
which changed these students for better and changed them to a better human being. These students

The Importance of the Role of the Teacher
The future of the world is in the hands of the children. Whether the future be a positive or negative
one depends on the children and the education they receive. The education of a child is so valuable
that one needs to consider the importance of the child's education. Also, one needs to consider how
to go about nurturing those bright minds so one day they can become independent individuals. As

environment upon students" (Zawondiak 124). Regardless of the approach the teacher might
decide to take, she holds the power even before a student walks into class. The teacher is the one
that chooses what materials are going to be used during the school year. She creates and plans
lessons that are going to be used during class time. How children are going to be assessed and
placed in levels that fit the children's capabilities. And finally, the teacher decides what set of goals
she might have for the class, the different set of teaching techniques she would like to use and the set
of expectations she might have for each students. The teacher is the one that decides what she wants
to concentrate on, how to go about teaching it, and the outcomes she expects from the students.
Education is a key element that directs one's life to success. By having knowledge one holds the
power to make goals a reality. Teachers are responsible to help goals, such as, learning to read
become a reality. It is the responsibility of the teacher to give the students the best quality of
education in order for the students to be able to have a positive experience as well success in life. I

Becoming a teacher can be an exciting and challenging experience for anyone. It can be quite
difficult to put four years of knowledge into their teaching and into a classroom environment. And
while it may seem challenging at first it does become easier over time.

The subject matter not only has to be relevant but it also has to be stimulating to the students'
curiosity. If a student is bored with the content, they are not going to want to learn it.
The classroom also has to be seen as a caring and supportive place with a sense of belonging. Every
student must feel respected, valued and heard. Giving children the support for learning by
welcoming their questions and encouraging exploration is very important for teachers to do.
Extrinsic motivators are sometimes used when teachers have a student or class who feels like they
have earn't something for their hard work. This could be things such as stickers or stamps on their
homework and tests. Or it could be receiving verbal or written praise. It could be just the thing that
motivates certain students. But not all students need to be extrinsically motivated. Teachers need to
find out which type of motivation works best for which student to help them succeed.
Classroom teaching is more likely to be effective when it is informed by an understanding of how
students learn. Constructivism is the current approach to learning in Australian schools today.
