2. The Drive
• On the 12th of February at the start of the
year, my family and I went to Queensland for
a spectacular holiday. It took two days to
drive down there and meet up with some of
Dad’s Aunties. It took five hours on the first
day. We stopped at Nan and Pa’s house. I
slept on the matress in thier living room.
3. The Drive Day Two
• The second day we drove to one of Dad’s
friends place’s. We stayed in the shed, on
the couch. We played the Wii and the x-box
all night! In the morning Dad and his friend
tried to scare me by saying, there has been
wild dogs that have been catching his
chickens. It didn’t scare me much.
4. Day 1
• We got to the hotel at 11:30am. We went
inside and got our room key. Room 19, and
went to lift 2. We are on floor 3. One floor
above the pool and the spa. We went inside
and got unpacked. Mum and Dad were in
the suit, Pa and Nan were in the double bed
room, Sam was on the couch and Sarah and I
were in the spare bed room.
5. Day 1 Midday
• After we unpacked Sam, Sarah and I went
down to the pool for a swim. It was a
heated pool. We sat in the spa for about half
an hour. Then Pa, Nan and Mum came down
in their togs and hopped in the spa with us.
6. Day 1 afternoon
• At about five o’clock we went out for tea at
this really fancy restaurant it was really
good. I had a Parma for tea it tasted
magnificent. There was a mini slide. So when
I got bored I just went down the slide.
