3. The Globe and Mail
The Globe and Mail is a nationally distributed
Canadian newspaper owned by The
Woodbridge Company, based in Toronto and
printed in six cities across the country. With a
weekly readership of approximately 950,000 .
it is Canada's largest-circulation national
newspaper and second-largest daily newspaper
after the Toronto Star. it is often referred to as
the Toronto Globe & Mail though this is not
how the paper is marketed.
4. National Post
The National Post is a Canadian English-language
newspaper. The paper is the flagship publication of
Postmedia Network, and is published Mondays
through Saturdays. It was founded in 1998 by
Conrad Black.
Once distributed nationally, it later began daily
edition in the provinces of Ontario, Quebec,
Alberta and British Columbia, while only its
weekend edition available in Manitoba and
Saskatchewan. As of 2006, the Post is no longer
distributed in Canada's Atlantic provinces and the
territories.
5. Montreal Gazette
The Montreal Gazette, formerly titled The
Gazette, is the only English-language daily
newspaper published in Montreal, Quebec,
Canada, after three other daily English
newspapers shut down at various times during the
second half of the 20th century. It is one of the
French-speaking province's two last surviving
English-language dailies.
Founded in 1778 by Fleury Mesplet, The Gazette is
Quebec's oldest daily newspaper.
6. Toronto Star
The Toronto Star is a Canadian broadsheet daily
newspaper. In 2011, it was Canada's highest-
circulation newspaper, although also the one with
the second-largest decline in readership between
2007 and 2011 among Canada's top 25
newspapers. It is owned by Toronto Star
Newspapers Ltd., a division of Star Media Group,
a subsidiary of Torstar Corporation.

TheToronto Sun is an English-language daily

Canada. It is known for its daily Sunshine Girl
feature and its populist conservative editorial
stance.
