Using a computer controlled process I had to prepare dry Blends for
pipe extrusion and for injection moulding plant.
I had three people reporting to me

Ensuring compliance with ISO and SABS standards. Running experiments
for research and development. Helping the QA department technically.
Responsible for keeping production and quality records according to the
standards.
Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly tests as required by standards.
 After my in-service training the management extended my
contract for another six months before they offered me a
permanent position.
 I was promoted three times.
 I resigned because of prospects of working closer to home..

Making sure that the production targets are being achieved,
maximizing the work force to achieve those set targets.
Making sure that the department is profitable. Responsible also for
training and developing the staff.
I had 25 people reporting to me.
 I was able to help the department I was responsible for to
make a profit after working at a loss for more than a year.
 My department was consistently the best producing
department for couple of months.

 I left the company to concentrate on pressing personal
problems that unfortunately needed my urgent attention.
