2. COSTUMEFemale;
Outside- when the girls are in
the clips outside I want them
to wear a sports bra and
sports leggings due to the
running and sport type of
activities I want them to do.
Inside- when they are inside
in the studio I want them to
wear tights and a leotard to
show there dance side of
them and how they are
taking it seriously.
Male;
For the male I want him to
wear tracksuit bottoms with
a t-shirt and either a hoodie
or a zipped up jumper. On
his feet he can just wear
trainers that he feels
comfortable in dancing in.
Female Hair;
I think for the outside
clips and possibly the
studio clips I want there
hair tied up in a pony tail.
But possibly in the studio
clips to maybe have it
half up and half down.
Male Hair;
Just how they personally
wear it, unless it falls in their
eyes, then possibly tied back
or a slight bit of gel in it.
3. ACTORS
• I decided to pick my actors (Gina, Sophie and Max) due to their talent at dancing and I
felt tat by having 3 people who are as equally talented as one another it would make
the video look effective due to the high quality and standard. I chose the two girls as I
feel they look quite similar which will show the change between being that younger
aged girl into her transitioning into a teen. They also do the same styled dancing yet
they are just at different levels due to their age yet through this you will be able to
similarities through the way they dance. Yet I chose to have one boy showing a
different style of dance so that there is a contrast between the dance styles and
gender.
4. PROPS
• Dance bag and water bottle
• Shoes- ballet shoes, pointe shoes, trainers (also part of costume at some points but at
times they aren’t actually being worn they are just being shown)
• I don’t have many props because I want the focus to be on the dancing rather than on
props.
