5. Movement Education is not simply a description and series of
games and activities for students. Instead our Movement
Education will emphasis the importance of students’ learning
the skill themes that will be used in a variety of sporting
games and activities. Our lesson plans will contain a variety
of rich lesson ideas that will help student become competent
in their movement skills. Competent movers typically enjoy
physical activity and are eager to participate. In contrast,
incompetent movers who lack skills are likely to avoid
physical education and participation.
