means of survival, having had to attend a high school in one of Washington, D.C's most dangerous neighborhoods. Cedric Jennings has had to isolate
himself from his peers so "he could stay on course and keep his sanity"(Suskind 293) in order to leave the neighborhood behind and pursue his dream
of attending an Ivy League school. When he does reach his dream of attending Brown University, he still holds the idea that isolation is the key of
survival. He still holds the idea that their is a battle between himself and his peers based on their different values or academic successes. As a result,
conflicts erupts by the fact Cedric won't give up his past and live toward the future or the now. Eventually he realizes that "being alone doesn't seem to
be working"(Suskind 293) anymore. One of the many conflicts during Cedric Jennings first year at Brown University is with his roommate Rob
Burton. Cedric and Rob come from different backgrounds with Rob being caucasian who comes from a privileged family having two doctors as
parents while Cedric is an African American who is raised by a single mother in a low income neighborhood. As a result, they start to clash with one
another especially since Cedric doesn't approve of Rob life choices since it seems to be everything that he had been warned about from back home.

I Had A Pretty Normal Childhood
I had a pretty normal childhood. That's how these memoir type things start right, saying how wonderful your life was until the big bad mental illness
struck? Technically, I am not supposed to be writing in narrative form, just keeping a thought record for my session next week with my therapist, but
that gets a bit dull. I decided to write down everything from the beginning to keep myself entertained. My therapist isn't going to be happy about it, but
I am still a bit unclear about what automatic thoughts she wants me to write down, so this seemed like a good alternative. I mean, I didn't struggle to

Denmark, concrete revenge is proven to be the most destructive. Throughout the entire play, Hamlet is looking to get revenge on Claudius for killing
his father and marrying his mother. He finally accomplishes his goal when he says "The point envenomed too! Then, venom, to thy work." (5.2. 323).
Hamlet's concrete revenge results in the death of Claudius which proves that concrete revenge is the most dangerous. While Hamlet is plotting his
revenge against Claudius, another character, Laertes, is planning revenge on Hamlet. Both Laertes' father and sister died due to Hamlet's actions.
Laertes gets his revenge on Hamlet when he says, "It is here, Hamlet. Hamlet, thou art slain/ No medicine in the world can do thee good" (5.2
315–316). Laertes gets his concrete revenge on Hamlet which results in another death, proving once again that concrete revenge is the most deadly.
Fortinbras' father lost a fight with King Hamlet, causing him to lose some of his land. Fortinbras gets revenge on Denmark due to the fact that almost
everyone in the Danish royal family dies. Fortinbras says, "For me, with sorrow I embrace my fortune/ I have some rights of memory in this kingdom
/ Which now to claim my vantage doth invite me" (5.2 392–394).

up with a great melody while sitting on a train, or driving in rush hour traffic, and having no way to document it, so be prepared! Don't be afraid to
hum the melody into your recording device, or sing it in gibberish. At this point, words are not important. Next, you need to build upon the melody.
Decide what sort of vibe this melody portrays, and stick to it! Is it sad, happy, angry? Then use your instrument of choice, a guitar in my case, to
make a sample melody for the song. I use the words "sample melody" because It will be subject to change, depending on the lyrics and structure of

a song. Before writing the lyrics, it is important to ask questions: What are you trying to get across to the listener? What is the atmosphere of the

Chapter 15: Flights of Fancy The main idea of this chapter is freedom. Foster depicts freedom as flying. Similar to Icarus, there is a story of a young
lad named Phaeton. Phaeton believes that he is the son of Apollo so he tracks him down. Apollo offered to grant Phaeton one wish since he traveled
so far to get there and he wished to ride Apollo's chariot. Apollo tries to warn Phaeton but being a naive little boy he doesn't care about the risks. So
Phaeton takes the chariot up but it turns out to be a disaster, so much so that Zeus had to stop it ultimately killing Phaeton. In both stories, the naive
children end up dead.

In the years since then we've all– adapted and evolved as consumers and corporations must. We are all perpetually available. I now speak for an
